God's Word Will Make You Free
***********************

Many people are afraid that God's Word will put them in
bondage. But Jesus said God's Word would make you free.

JOHN 8:31-32 NKJ
31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, If you
abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you
free.

Abide means to live, to continue, or to spend time somewhere.

If you continue to spend time in Jesus' Word -- you will know
the truth.

When you know the truth, you will act on that knowledge, and
acting on the truth will make you free!

The Bible, especially the message of Jesus Christ in the New
Testament, will set you free if you continue in it.

We are not guaranteed instant results, although they sometimes
do happen. Freedom is certain, however, if you stick with God's
Word. Jesus gave His guarantee!

If you are not enjoying freedom in any area of your life, you
have not continued in God's Word enough in that area.

God's Word has the information that, when acted upon, will make
you free!

SAY THIS: I will continue in God's Word and it will make me
free.

Glory be to God for people like you! You are a blessing for your words are encouraging! But the message of Jesus Christ in the New Testament is embedded in the Old Testament. Take Luke 4:4 with Deut 8:3 as one of the many examples. See that Matthew 22:37,39 is from Deut 6:5 & Leviticus 19:18. Am revived by the good news from you. I do think that the message of Jesus Christ should not be limited to the New Testament. See also Isaiah 53 and also Luke 4:24-27. *

The truth will set us free. Paul takes a full day to explain the message of Jesus from Old Testament-Acts 28:23. We are set free indeed by the message inspired by the Holy Spirit. You read 2Peter1:20,21 and 1 Cor 10:11. Will we understand the message of Jesus properly on Hebrews 7,8 & 9 if we specialise New Testament? *

What about 2 Timothy 3:16,17. Is this Scripture not about the message of Jesus Christ? Notice that Timothy knows it from childhood-verse 15, which is definately the Old Testament! The Expositr's Bible Commentary, 1979, Vol.1, p.617 records 4105 quotations in the New Testament from the Old! Paul is recorded with 183 quotes from the Old Testament in all his books. The fact is we won't fullyw understand the message of Jesus Christ if we say 'especially the New Testament'. *

Do we people understand that the tabernacle *

Remember the Bereans (Act 17:11) and follow their example. To God be glory always. Amen! *
